On a October 13, 2024, a small MTR group gathered at Atlanta’s 2024 Pride parade to support the LGBTQ+ community. Little did we know hundreds would be impacted by our presence that day, and several thousands after the fact thanks to Instagram and Atlanta’s largest newspaper. Inspired by how a small group can have a big impact, MTR hit the road in 2025 taking “I’m Sorry” to Pride events across the nation. Kelly collaborated with churches and other organizations to attend Pride events in Long Beach, CA, La Center, WA, Denver, CO, Omaha, NE and Charlotte, NC. The impact was TREMENDOUS!
This October, we will conclude the 2025 “I’m Sorry” Pride Tour where it all began in 2024 – MTR’s home city, Atlanta! Join us on Sunday, October 12, for the Atlanta Pride Parade. MTR and our friends will come together to show up as ambassadors of hope, healing and reconciliation, with one simple agenda: love.
