A small group gathered at Atlanta’s 2024 Pride parade to support the LGBTQ+ community. Little did we know hundreds would be impacted by our presence that day, and several thousands after the fact thanks to Instagram and Atlanta’s largest newspaper. Inspired by how a small group can have a big impact, MTR is taking “I’m Sorry” on the road in 2025. We will collaborate with partners across the country, as we help mobilize and equip individuals to have an intentional, healing presence at their local Pride events.
The first stop on the 2025 “I’m Sorry” Pride Tour will be Long Beach, California for Long Beach Pride. MTR is honored to partner with City Church Long Beach (with MTR board member, Bill White) and Long Beach Christian Fellowship for this event. Kelly will be at Long Beach Pride events and would love to connect with MTR friends as well. Our Pride attendance goal is to extend love, hope, and solidarity, as we publicly exhibit a repentant and compassionate Christian posture to the LGBTQ+ community.
