A small group gathered at Atlanta’s 2024 Pride parade to support the LGBTQ+ community. Little did we know hundreds would be impacted by our presence that day, and several thousands after the fact thanks to Instagram and Atlanta’s largest newspaper. Inspired by how a small group can have a big impact, MTR is taking “I’m Sorry” on the road in 2025. We will collaborate with partners across the country, as we help mobilize and equip individuals to have an intentional, healing presence at their local Pride events.
The second stop on the 2025 “I’m Sorry” Pride Tour will be La Center, Washington for Clark County’s 5th Annual Rainbow Walk. MTR is honored to partner with our friends Gail and Eunice from Called to Love for this event. Called to Love is an ecumenical group of parents and family members wanting to love, better understand and support their LGBTQ+ children and loved ones. Our Pride attendance goal is to extend love, hope, and solidarity, as we publicly exhibit a repentant and compassionate Christian posture to the LGBTQ+ community.
